PORSCHE 911 3.2 Backdate – restomod (1982)
This 1982 Porsche 911 Restomod is an exceptional piece to say the least. A true labour of love.
The desire of any Porsche fanatic. This Restomod was created by an avid Porsche collector that started this project as a small restoration but ended up restoring the entire car with the highest attention to detail.
The matching number engine was upgraded with the injection system of a later 3.2 litre Carrera to get more power. As any Porsche enthusiast knows. the basic 911 3.0 and 3.2 block are virtually identical, so this engine has the same advantages as the 911 Carrera starting from model year 1984.
A limited slip differential was fitted to increase the efficiency of the car. The gearbox was completely rebuilt with brand new synchro’s and bearings. A WEVO system was fitted inside the gearbox and a WEVO short shifter was added.
The car has a Koni (red) suspension with all integral parts renewed for better road handling. A custom sports exhaust was fitted to accentuate the sound of the air-cooled Porsche six-cylinder engine.
The engine has only been driven about 900 kilometres since the restoration. The restoration was photo documented.
The vehicle is registered as a classic car in Belgium with makes it easy to register in any EU county and is ready for immediate use.
